As of today, the Harbor Coalition has 30 member organizations – nearly three times what we started with this year! In the past few weeks alone we’ve signed up Row New York,the Broad Channel Civic AssociationJamaica Bay Ecowatchers, the Waterfront Museum andNYC WetLands. Welcome aboard everyone!

in the field by James ‘Birfman’ Cataldi to protect the health
of Inwood’s North Cove, and it’s resident & migrating water foul.

Description: First goose released at North Cove is part of a national research study. Goose leaves upper west side Manhattan and hops on the “One” subway line, exits at 207th and leaves his cage to freedom after being successfully treated for a life threatening condition.

Description: Inwood’s North Cove (INCove) Official Federal “Rehab & Release” SiteNYC Wild Bird Fund, a federally licensed wildlife facility, selects Inwood’s North Cove as new release site for water fowl after treatment.

The Wild Bird Fund is a non-profit organization helping to save wildbirds and wildlife in NYC.
